Family Run Business Since 1977
From our humble beginnings in the Hall family home, Pendle has grown into the UK’s leading supplier direct to clubs. Just as the first Pendle kit was cut
and sewn by Phil himself, all our customisation is done in-house to allow greater quality control and quick turnaround times. No matter how the business
might change, we always stay true to our roots in quality, value, and community.
1972 ➡️
Phil Hall, the now company chairman, set up a football team 'Chartarac FC'. He found buying team kits especially difficult.
1977 ➡️
Pendle Sportswear was founded and began supplying the grassroots football market.
1978 ➡️
The first team kit ever sold was cut and sewn by Phil himself and delivered on a motorway layby!
2005 ➡️
All customisation was brought in house allowing for superior quality control and fast turnaround times (2 working days).
2020 ➡️
State of the art warehouse extension was constructed allowing us to carry stocks worth up to £3m.
